SHI accepts volunteers from the Washington DC metro area and Vanouver, WA, willing to donate their time and effort to fight human trafficking. SHI volunteers are young activists, parents, retirees, professionals, community leaders-anyone devoted to protecting and restoring human dignity. Individuals most likely to thrive at SHI come with varying degrees of experience and education in international affairs, human rights, business, education and other related fields. Volunteer responsibilities for the DC office include administrative and research support for the staff, public relations work, and assistance with special campaigns. Some volunteer projects can be completed outside the office, or during evenings and weekends. Volunteers are often pulled in to support ongoing research or projects. Volunteer responsibilities for the Vancouver office include mailings, data entry, research, phoning, special events, and general office support. Volunteer projects are done at the Vancouver Shared Hope Office, with the exception of volunteering at our special events. Volunteering with SHI will provide you the opportunity to learn more about the international issues of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). Contact Info:
