Help us create a new space |

In the new year, our organisation, Public Achievement are moving into new offices in Belfast’s City Centre – actually in the new ‘Cathedral Arts Quarter’ up-and-coming funky part of town. We are moving because our existing building is in a terrible state and the owner won’t get it fixed, but we are excited about the move. Now what we are getting is just over 1500 square feet divided into two office spaces (600 and 900 square feet). The smaller part will be used as a meeting/workshop/studio space and includes an extremely basic ‘kitchen’. The larger part we need to divide up into office/working/study space for 10 or so colleagues, with the possibility of some modest expansion (we are currently 8 people). Both spaces have windows (north-east facing) along one side – so interior space will need to involve glass. In addition to office space, one room needs sound proofing for video editing and sound recording for our work on our WIMPS www.wimps.org.uk website. What we’d like help with is designing the space. We basically have no money to fund the changes – the new rent will stretch us. However we are intent on using all our contacts and goodwill to get a decent space for our important work. So if you can help with the design of the space, suggestions for materials, or even some good artwork for our walls, we would be ever so grateful – and if you are in Belfast, come and visit us! I’ve attached a floor plan – as you can see, we have a fairly blank canvas! Contact Info:
