Internal change as a fundamental mechanism of external change.

Silence. It is constantly available inside of us and more and more outside of us. It is at the very core of everything and nothing. This world can only be reformed by those who have stepped into the silence and have embodied true discernment. I am not alone in my belief that inherently there isn’t any substance to any of the problems/solutions in this material expression of ourselves. The way we perceive this home of ours is through mechanisms of personal choice. I wonder how many of us are willing to gracefully experience themselves as an individuated example of a unified field. Try it…... see how long it takes and how hard it is to detach yourself from the chattering of your brain. There is so much that could be said here…................... But without the experience of at least attempting to be Quiet, this post will be nothing more than something to think about. A meditation practice has begun at a Women’s Empowerment Center in NJ just this last week. I made a commitment to sit monthly with a group and begin to envision a world without conflict. A world that embodies our intrinsic nature. It is our hope that we will go beyond envisioning into grounding and stabilizing. This approach has the potential of creating infrastructures from the inside – out. It wholistically embraces community inspired business and it seeks to be mutually inclusive of all paths that humans are currently walking. Whether we believe that some are walking in the wrong direction or not we seek to inspire change from within. To paraphrase Stephen Covey: a committed effort to challenge ourselves gently in order to move forward with substance can imbue our ‘Rethos’ with a deeply rooted character based personal ethic.

Ah Jason,
That post rang so true for me. Lynne McTaggert is doing great work towards this on a fairly big scale. Holosync has helped me to enjoy quieting the chatter and “ground”. Thanks for stating it so eloquently.
