MONTREAL, May 8 - Three months before the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing, RWB Canada launches its celebrity campaign entitled "For Press Freedom in China" unveiling the list of its celebrity participants.
Reporters Without Borders Canada has organized this series of portraits wherein several celebrities pose wearing the Beijing 2008 tshirt (with the logo of the Olympic rings transformed into handcuffs) sold in Canada to finance the work of the organization. The photos will be published once a week in the press from the 8th of May, three months before the awaited opening of the Olympic Games, until the 8th of August, the beginning of the games.
The following celebrities have accepted to associate themselves with Reporters Without Borders in its combat press freedom in China : Richard Petit, Vincent Graton, Lucie Laurier, Karkwa, Benoît Dutrizac, Emmanuelle Béart, Olivier Hanigan, Ariane Moffat, Alina Fernandez and Marc Labrèche.
