Currently I am a social justice teacher at a private high school in south Mississippi. I have spent most of my adult life working in Brazil where I opened and ran several homes for street children and children at risk. I traveled extensively during that time-- Peru, Bolivia, Argentina etc. In order to learn from others the work of activism. I spent time in Kalcuta, India working with Mother Teresa. I am a divorced single dad with four children. I love the educational work I now do-- preparing the future to more aware and compassionate. It is hard, however, dealing with the many oppressive attitudes that creep into the mind set of young conservative americans.
