A little advocacy for the devil here: First off, friends of mine at UF say that this guy is a well-known joker, as he proved. That said, He didn’t give Kerry a chance to talk throughout his entire line of questioning, which is kind of the point; Kerry is there to answer questions, not have them flung at him like monkey poo. And when this guy is asked to leave, he could have left. Everyone knows that yelling at a crowd of cops is the surest way to not get anything done.

That said: The campus cops did NOT give him a chance to walk out. They did not...

That’s a great idea. There’s an organization in Philadelphia called S.C.R.U.B. that helps to fight eyesores in the community. Many cities around the world have so much natural beauty. Why ruin it by having these idols to consumerism distract our vision?

I grew up in Honolulu where outdoor advertising has been banned since at least the 1960s. Exemptions had to be granted when Wyland (an artist) painted a giant mural of a whale since the law considered almost anything decorative that could be seen from outside as advertising. Today the modified law still stands and even was used to ban billboard trucks (the ones that tow billboards around the city). Only indoor billboards are allowed, which are wall sized ads in places like parking garages, shopping malls etc, so long as they can not be seen from outside. Signs with ONL...

I was amazed to see Kiev’s beautiful underground system completely ad free. Manila has massive adverts that look ugly and even worse when so many people cannot afford the products. I thinks large billboards should be banned.
