I felt compelled to do a little write-up about a viral email message that is in high circulation on the internet right now. The message includes several images of a seemingly heartwarming encounter between a polar bear and a (chained) sled dog near Churchill, Manitoba, which bills itself as “the polar bear capital of the world.” This message was received from a friend who knows about and supports my sled dog advocacy.
