America contacted AFFIL looking for a way to speak out about 
disturbing sales practices they were trained to use as employees. Their stories confirm what
we've long suspected: that credit card companies extend credit
to those who can't afford it, and engage in a "tricks and traps" 
business model designed to max out cardholders and keep

September 23, 2008, Gulu District, Uganda: Refugees who have been disabled by the war in Northern Uganda are confronting food shortages and inaccessible public services in government-run camps. At the same time they are under growing pressure to return home, even though they lack the resources to resume a normal life.

This warning was issued recently by the Gulu Disabled Persons Union (GDPU), an advocacy group. It comes at a time when the Ugandan government is stepping up efforts to empty the camps, which still house more than half a million internally displaced pers...

That is certainly a worthy position for him to hold, in contrast to some other sects of Christians who feel it is their right to destroy the planet for capitalist gain. I dont follow an organized religion, but I can respect people like this who use their position to do what they feel is right. For many, religion is just another mechanism of control. Being a Christian myself I’m more then a little embarased by these statistics. Christ paints a pretty clear picture on what we should do to our enemies (turn the other cheek) I am currently wrestling with the concept of pascifism. ie: should I protect my family if they were attacked? Myself? Strangers? For what reasons? etc… War for profit seems pretty clear though.
