I am a Mechanical Engineer working in the water distributions sector. I was born in Dubai, UAE, and I hold dual Canadian-Pakistani citizenship. My residence is based in the Toronto region.

My reason for joining rethos was simple - I believe raising awareness on all issues that affect the society and the world I live in. Rethos seems to have the right idea and approach, and it possesses the potential to go afar. I hope to bring in my perspective to all issues from poverty and hunger, to genuine democracy and governance, to GMO's and sustainable development.

I am unaware of the difference my presence will make to this forward push. However, I strongly adhere to the notion that if I do not exercise my franchise, I lose that right to complain.
