I am starting a clothing line for children who are hypersensitive to clothing, usually a symptom associated with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and a range of Developmental Disabilities. SOFT (clothing for all children) is the first self-proclaimed line of “inclusive clothing” designed with the needs of all children in mind, including those with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and a range of sensory sensitivity. The clothes are designed using flat seaming for extra comfort, seamless and tubular knits, wide collars, printed labels, custom fits, and all in 100% combed cotton pre-laundered and treated for extra softness. I have received hundreds of emails from people all over the world giving feedback and suggestions, and I am continuing to develop the idea based on their expressed needs, opinions, and ideas.
